  The Grandkids have been enjoying everything from swimming, the pirate ship playground, swings and the candy store at Keenes Lake Family Campground.

  Costs $2.00 for beach access, with clean washrooms and showers available. Dogs are allowed on the beach.

  Family owned Campground. Facilities and property clean and well maintained. Close to U.S. Canadian border. Wal-Mart short drive from campground. Beautiful surroundings and quiet during our visit late October 2017. Highly recommend staying here.

  The lake is small, thus much warmer than the ocean. There's no sand beach, just a pebbly shoreline, so those with sensitive feet may want to wear water slippers. The lawn above the shore is mostly unshaded, although there are some magnificent old trees on either side of it. There are no picnic tables. Just bring your own beach umbrellas, lawn chairs, etc!
